How to Maintain Bright Ombre Hair
The hardest part about using oVertone? Picking a color. Can’t choose? Pick two. Wait, make that three. Want more? No problem. With a little sectioning and a mirror, you can easily use as many oVertone shades as you like. Our Coloring and Daily Conditioners were designed to be thick enough so that they won’t run all over and end up where they shouldn’t.
You can both achieve and maintain ombre hair with oVertone – the process is much the same, except that if you’re coloring from scratch rather than just maintaining, you’ll want to use Coloring Conditioners.

As you apply the Conditioner, be sure to blend wherever two colors meet so that you have smooth transitions. Once your color is on, you can let the next section down and continue applying all over. You can apply on wet or dry hair – dry hair will result in more saturated color.
Wait 3-5 minutes for Daily Conditioners, or 10 minutes for Coloring Conditioners, then rinse – no need to shampoo afterwards. Bye, faded hair. Watch our video tutorial on Youtube to see it in more detail!
