What is the difference between Coloring and Daily Conditioner?
oVertone Daily Conditioners are made to help maintain your shade in between color applications. Use them in the shower for an easy color refresh, in 3 mins or less.

How long does it last?
Because it is a semi-permanent hair color, oVertone may leave a subtle, permanent tint.
Before coloring, do a strand test to see what your color will look like and how long it will last on your hair. Learn how to do it here!
Do I need to bleach first?
If your hair is dark brown or black and you want vivid results—you’ll need to pre-lighten in order to achieve bold or noticeable color payoff.
If you’re unsure a color will work on your hair, do a strand test before applying.
Pastel? Vibrant? Extreme? For Brown Hair? What do those mean?
Pastel: Subtle, soft shades that work on platinum or light blonde hair.
Vibrant: Bright fantasy colors that work on platinum to light brown hair.
Extreme: Bold, vivid shades with big color payoff. Best for blonde to light brown starting shades.
For Brown Hair: Rich, subtle colors made specifically for light to medium brown hair. Try them on highlights or an ombre for a super-vivid pop of color.

What do processing times look like, and when will my package arrive?
General delivery times:
Standard U.S. Shipping: 7–15 business days
USPS Priority Shipping: 2–3 business days (AK, HI, and Puerto Rico only)
FedEx Home: 5–7 business days.
Standard International Shipping: Up to 25 business days.
What is oVertone’s return policy?
For other returns:
- Refund requests must be submitted through our returns page within 15 days of delivery
- Requests submitted 16–60 days after delivery are eligible for store credit only
- Refunds only apply to items that have been purchased through overtone.co
- Shipping is ineligible for refund unless the package was incorrectly shipped, or an error occurred
- Due to safety precautions, we do not accept physical returns

I received the wrong product, I'm missing part of my order, or my item arrived damaged
If something’s damaged: Make sure to include photos of the box and the product. Our team will send a replacement out ASAP.
If you received the wrong product(s): Don’t worry about returning it. It’s yours to keep.
