I have tried overtone a few different times in the past. Golden brown, as well as dark brown for the color, depositing mask, but also vibrant, red, lavender, and teal for the conditioner.
I wanted to try a full head application of a more vibrant color so ordered a sample of Golden Rose. I have color-treated light brown hair with lots of gray and I touched up my roots and then applied overtone throughout the length of my (dry) hair. Left it on for about an hour then washed and conditioned as usual. The color is a rich shimmery red. I think I may want to try and even more vibrant, pink shade next time. It looks fantastic in the sunlight on my curls!
