Mixed espresso brown with the purple violet
Wanted a more brown color with a hint of purple for fun and I think it turned out great! I’m letting my greys grow out and want them to blend in a little better with out a vibrant purple.

Covers My Gray
I am transitioning to gray but not ready for the full effect of seeing the grow out. I tried several colors, Mushroom Brown, Black, Twilight Silver, Serene Silver to see what would give my gray any type of color. Espresso is the only one that colored my gray. The rest made my gray muddy or a tinge of blue. I left Espresso on for 2 hours and it did a great job of adding some light brown tones to my gray hair line and shadowed it so it looked very natural. This is going to help me grow out my hair. I used Mushroom Brown to tone over my med brown colored hair. Left it on for only 30 mins. It looks nice but is much darker than I thought it would be. I'm sure with a couple washes it will settle. So I know the Espresso would be way too dark to use to tone my colored hair.
