This works well with my dark hair and is actually more of a purplish color. I use it to blend in my grays while also giving my hair a little bit of a pop of color. I ended up getting a little balayage at the end of my hair and the color is super fun.

Dear Overtone, please never stop making this color!
I am a cool-toned dark brown haired gal. The majority of the semi/demi-perm browns I’ve tried have either been far too warm, or closer to black. Then, enter Miss Cherry Chestnut. She’s a fabulous chocolate brown mixed with a cool pink-red, and she works on my hair like a dream. She covers evenly, she saturates well, and she makes my hair feel amazing. Plus, the lovely cherry tint that can be seen well in sunlight is a gorgeous little bonus. (Think cola with a splash of cherry.) I’ve definitely found my go-to product duo and shade.
