Growing out the Grays as a dark brunette
Smells good! Feels like pudding consistency. Im attemping to grow out my hair that has all white around the hairline but still has plenty of dark brassy brown everywhere else. Mushroom brown is a dark neutral brown and it blends my demarcation growth line well. As it fades on my pure white hair, it leaves a medium natural looking taupe color and last for several shampoos. Photos are day 1 just a trial strand on all white bangs and then 6 weeks later of the fade and overall brass color on the brown. The mushroom brown washes out too fast to notice any significant change on my brown hair but worked great on my white hair! I wouldnt buy this to specifically neutralize brassy because it barely made a difference on mine but it did help to neutralize my demarcation line between my natural grow out and the old demi permanent brown wella hair dye thats been in it for years.
Photo is a test strand of mushroom brown on my pure white hair 1 day after shampoo. And other photos is 6 weeks later after several shampoos. I think it would work best on porous or bleached hair. My hair is super straight and healthy which is good, but this also makes it more resistant to dye and curls. Hopefully this helps someone and thanks for reading!

Pretty color
Love having this new addition to the brown lineup- perfect for adding some brown back into my lightened hair while also toning down the orange tone. My natural color is a medium/dark brown with a red undertone. My hair is cut short, and thick with a small amount of natural wave and greying in the front, looking salt and pepper from the front and mostly brown in the back when natural. Sometimes I lighten it to soften the contrast, and use a purple or silver color to tone, not to take it all the way to a cool tone but to counter act the orange from lightening and take it a dark blonde to light brown version of my natural color. Mushroom brown is perfect to take it a bit darker again and also tone it.

It’s nice!
It’s a safe way and clean way to have some color deposit into your hair and maintain it healthy and bouncy without damaging with chemicals. That’s why I like it. I recommend it for anyone that’s transitioning from hair dye into their silver hair. It gives it a wonderful color deposit into your silver hair. Very beautiful dimensions.
