I have used Overtone in the past, most recently in the espresso brown, which started turning more red than brown after a few days from covering my blonde. I wanted a truly brown shade, and the mushroom brown has delivered! I do feel as if this color doesnβt cover grays as well as a darker brown shade, but Iβm okay with it. I now need the daily conditioner to be available in this color ASAP!! I love it!

Okay Overtone, this color is stunning. I am so happy with my results, I will attach photos. I used a color remover, and was left with the color on the left (the dark orange color). I needed something I could cover up the dark orange without going too dark, and Mushroom Brown did not disappoint! My hair also felt amazing, shiny and SO soft. I did use an entire tub for my length of hair. Overtone, please come out with a demi-permanent mushroom brown, so my results can last longer. Yβall rock!

It's a beautiful deep cool tone. I have low-contrast highlights, and was looking to just boost my natural color with some enhancement. This is darker than my natural shade (level 6 brunette), so I was able to dilute it 1:1 with conditioner. I think next time I could even dilute it a tiny bit more, but it's settled in nicely after two washes. I'm going to get a lot of use out of this!
