I started going gray when I was in middle school and have dyed my hair for sometime. Im at that point now that I want to grow out my nautrual gray even at a young age. Wanted to try Overtone to see how it would go over my gray/ white hair and past dyes. Looks pretty natural and covers the grays pretty nicely. Im also pregnant and felt this would be safer for me.

I wanted to leave a review as a brunette w a lot of white wisdom tinsel. Although I'm not at 50% solid white, in the sun I've got a distinct Cruella streak and a salt and pepper look. I've used the Chocolate Brown depositing mask twice now. It doesn't leave my hair brown, but stains the light strands enough to give me natural looking blonde highlights. I love it! I don't like permanent or demi-permanent hair color because of the lift and demarcation it leaves. This is perfect for me! It lasts at least 3 weeks fading to an even paler blonde. I think I get at least a month of color for each application.

Worked exactly as I hoped, my bright red has been tamed into a cherry brown. It is pretty short term and really does require weekly treatments. I also have medium length hair, not thick, and the whole container will probably only cover 3 all over color treatments. Still, very happy with the product doing what its supposed to.
