Vivid Violet delivers a rich, saturated purple hue with cool undertones, ideal for anyone looking to achieve a vibrant, statement-making color with strong payoff and depth.
It pairs a Color Depositing Treatment Mask, which delivers more noticeable color payoff, with a Color Depositing Daily Conditioner, which helps refresh and maintain color between applications. The duo includes an 8 fl. oz. / 237 ml Treatment Mask and a 4.5 fl. oz. / 133 ml Daily Conditioner.
Overtone offers the duo in 35+ shades, making it easy to choose from a wide range of bold, natural-looking, or customizable color options.
For best results, apply the Treatment Mask with gloves to dry hair, leave it on for 10–15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with warm water without shampooing. The Treatment Mask typically lasts about 2–3 weeks, though results vary depending on hair type, starting shade, and wash routine.
To maintain the intensity and vibrancy of Vivid Violet, apply the Daily Conditioner to wet hair after shampooing, leave it on for 3–5 minutes, and rinse thoroughly. It refreshes color for about 3–5 days at a time and can be used as often as desired.
The Healthy Color Duo is formulated for all hair types and textures, including curl-friendly routines, and is designed to provide visible color without bleach for many starting shades. Results are generally strongest on hair that is lighter than jet black, while pre-lightening may help achieve brighter, more vivid violet results.
Both formulas are free of ammonia, parabens, sulfates, peroxide, and other harsh chemicals.

I've been using this product for several years now in the extreme purple and extreme blue on my mid to dark brown hair. I love the color tint it gives to my hair and I get compliments on it all the time. I've tried another brand and that brand just does not last as long as Overtone....I use the deep conditioner once every 3 weeks or so and that keeps my color going strong. Plus, it does condition my hair and makes it feel fuller and softer.
