Vegan, Leaping Bunny and PETA certified, Overtone Serene Silver Color Depositing Treatment Mask is a soft, cool-toned silver treatment designed for those who want a clean, modern tone, hydration, and luminous shine without damage. Ideal for blonde, pre-lightened, or gray hair, it delivers a sheer, serene silver hue that lasts about 2–3 weeks or up to 10 washes, then fades gradually and evenly.

This semi-permanent, deposit-only formula creates a soft, silvery wash of color on lighter bases and a subtle toning effect on darker hair. For the most true-to-tone, bright silver results, hair should be pre-lightened (bleached) to a light blonde before applying. On pale blonde or pre-lightened hair, Serene Silver appears as a clean, soft silver with cool undertones. On darker blonde hair, it helps neutralize warmth and creates a muted, ash-toned finish. On brown or darker hair, results will be minimal, primarily enhancing shine with a cool-toned cast rather than creating a dramatic color change.

Color appears light, airy, and refined never heavy and fades into softer, silvery tones over time for a natural, lived-in finish. It can also help tone down brassiness for a cooler overall look.

Ok so I have natural salt and pepper hair and to be absolutely honest whilst I did not see a dramatic colour change this product did leave my hair really soft.
Ps my silver already was very silver.

Surprised!
I did not expect to be so pleased with my results. I had mostly grey hair but it looked brassy yellow in areas. When I initially saw my results, before the hair was dry, I thought I had turned my lovely grey dark brown. But once it was dry, the yellow was gone and replaced by a lovely silver. My grey is now stunning, IMO! Very happy with the product!

Perfect color
Previously, I used Deep Purple. It complemented my complexion, and I was tired of gray hair. Problem was, it didn't last. I have SOME pigment in my hair, which grabbed the color pretty well, but it soon washed off my gray. The only way for me to retain the deep purple color was to bleach my hair, which isn't something I'm willing to do anymore. I've never had thick hair, and "maturity" and medication have taken a toll.
I tried out the Serene Silver, and I'm sold! It dealt with that awful yellowing that happens to gray hair, and left my hair a gorgeous gleaming silver. While I loved my purple hair (and received many compliments over the years), it's time I embrace my silver locks and and celebrate my age... er, maturity. Overtone has definitely helped with the former; the latter is taking time.
