Leaping Bunny and PETA certified, Overtone Color Depositing Conditioner in Desert Rose is a pigmented daily conditioner designed to refresh, enhance, and maintain soft, dusty rose hair color while conditioning. It’s ideal for anyone who wants visible, salon-quality color at home without bleach or ammonia.
Desert Rose delivers a muted blend of warm pink and earthy undertones, perfect for adding subtle warmth, reviving faded color, and enhancing hair with a soft, sun-faded, natural-looking finish between salon visits or full dye sessions.
This is a non-damaging, deposit-only formula with no lightening agents, so it adds color on top of your existing shade rather than lifting it. Color typically lasts about 3–5 days and can be reapplied as often as you like for ongoing vibrancy, softness, and quick touch-ups.
Available in 35 shades including Royal Plum, Cherry Chestnut, Ginger Glow, Vivid Violet, and Espresso Brown it offers options ranging from subtle, natural-looking enhancement to bold, vivid tones. You can target faded or uneven areas or apply root to tip for an all-over color refresh.
The formula combines conditioning agents (cetearyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, behentrimonium chloride, glycerin) with aloe barbadensis leaf juice to help hydrate, soften, and improve manageability. A blend of nourishing oils—including shea butter, coconut, jojoba, meadowfoam, linseed, sunflower, argan, and Abyssinian seed oil—helps smooth the hair surface, reduce frizz, and enhance shine for healthier-looking, more softly tinted hair.

Works incredibly well to give overall color and coverage. Easy to use, and helps extend the life of my color beyond what I would have expected. I have been using overtone now for several years, initially to keep the hair from my shoulders to my lower back a vibrant purple color - and now I have been using the rose gold/desert gold color for well over a year now. It has not dried my hair out whatsoever, and in fact, keeps it healthy and moisturized throughout use. I recently picked up the hydrating shampoo as well and love it just as much.
