I had low lights and baby lights done last year to blend my white hairs. I leave the colour on for a few hours...I will say an hour at least. I cover my hair with a plastic shower cap and then a towel lined cap. Before I shower I blast my hair with my hairdryer for about 10 minutes focusing on the grey/white spots
Through this process my white get 90%. They turn a steel grey which blends into the black. My greys aren't covered but they are blended well. I have very dark brown hair so it looks with the steel grey parts after the colour there is less of a contrast.

This is my go-to color! I love how rich it is, and it even works on virgin hair—though you migh have to add a bit of green if you have red tones or a bit of orange or brown if your hair is really light or cool-toned. The good thing is, even if you get it wrong, another process with just black will most likely fix it.
