Watch: Vibrant Blue Saves the Hair Day
It’s been a few weeks since you colored your hair, but now the dullness and fade are starting to creep in and steal your shine. Oof, we feel your pain. Having bright, bold hair is main character energy, but the struggle to maintain its pop is real.
We caught up with @katieiswinnen to see how she takes her faded locks and self-expression to vibrant proportions with Vibrant Blue Coloring Conditioner.
“I knew the Coloring Conditioner would be best for transforming my hair to the color I wanted, and the Daily Conditioner would help me maintain the color. The Vibrant Blue seemed like the perfect shade based on what color I was going for.” — @katieiswinnen
This is not Katie’s first coloring rodeo. We’ve helped her go pink in the past, so she knows that oVertone is the secret weapon for turning an okay hair day into the best hair day and that color therapy is a great way to feel more confident in your look. Watch how she dives deep into the Vibrant Blue sea for the softest strands and icy cool refresh she’s been looking for.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Your choice of Coloring Conditioner.
Pro Tip: If your hair is extra long and thick like Katies' use, at least two jars of oVertone to color your whole head of hair.
- Clothes for coloring. We have to admit, Katie’s fit is pretty darn cute.
- Gloves, clips, towels.
LET'S GET COLORING:
STEP 01: Section off dry hair. @katieiswinnen decided to clip the top layer of hair up and focus on the bottom layer to start working her way up to the crown. This method is perfect for her thick, long beautiful locks.
STEP 02: Apply color to small sections of hair, starting at the roots and working your way to the ends. Make sure hair is completely drenched with conditioner for even color coverage.
STEP 03: Let it sit for 10-15 minutes. @katieiswinnen went with 20 for bolder color results.
STEP 04: Wash, style, reveal. And most importantly, enjoy the results.
“My hair is deeply tied to my confidence. Dyeing my hair blue has felt like the biggest transformation, not only outside but especially inside. I feel more like my true self than I have in a long time, and I know that confidence radiates from me now.” — @katieiswinnen
