Breaking Down oVertone’s Shades
Not sure if you should choose Vibrant or Extreme? Wondering if Teal will show up on your current hair color? Questioning if your shade will show up if you’ve never lightened your hair before?
If it’s your first time using oVertone, picking your perfect product can be a little overwhelming. That’s why we’re breaking it all down to help you find the shade your hair is ready for.
Pastel
The Pastels are our least pigmented products. Because they contain low levels of pigment, you’ll most likely need to bleach or have very naturally blonde hair to achieve this color.
Vibrant
Our Vibrant shades have more pigment than our Pastel shades and create a more intense color. If you’re going for a bolder look, pre-lightened, bleached, or naturally light blonde hair works best. If you want to achieve a more muted look, medium or dark blonde hair is your ideal starting shade.
Extreme
Our Extreme shades contain a pretty high level of pigment. They work best on pre-lightened or bleached hair for BIG color payoff, or for a more subtle tint on medium to dark blond. You might see results on light to medium brown hair as well, but they’ll possibly be more minimal than you’re anticipating.
Neon
Neons are great for bleached or platinum hair. You can also mix it into another color to “neon-ize” that color.
