How-to: Refresh Ginger Hair Color From Home
Lately, our Instagram feeds have been full of red hair inspo, getting us super excited for fall! But red is a complex color that isn’t the easiest to maintain. On the color maintenance scale, red hair is one of the most difficult to care for. After all, it’s a tone that relies on vibrancy — meaning dullness is non-negotiable.
Whether your hair is as fiery as a chili pepper or as cool as a glass of burgundy wine, we have a color tutorial to help keep your locks looking as fresh and vibrant as possible — for as long as possible.
Watch @caiticat1 elevate her crimson locks to fiery proportions using Ginger Coloring Conditioner to improve her hair's health, happiness, and all-around glow.
TIME FOR A REFRESH
STEP 01:
Section off dry hair. @caiticat1 clipped the top layer of hair up to focus on the bottom layer to start working her way up to the crown. This method is perfect for her thick, long, beautiful locks.
STEP 02:
Apply color to small sections of hair, starting at the roots and working your way to the ends. Make sure hair is completely drenched with conditioner for even color coverage.
STEP 03:
Let it sit for 10-15 minutes. @caiticat1 decided to do a self-care face mask while she waited!
STEP 04:
Wash, style, reveal. And most importantly, enjoy the results.
