How to Use Rose Gold for Brown Hair
Rose gold is not just for blonde hair anymore. Rose Gold for Brown Hair is here. A more pigmented version of our original formula, Rose Gold for Brown Hair is specially formulated to show up on light, medium and dark brown hair. All of the extra pigment, still vegan, sans the sulfates, and of course cruelty free.
How to get the rose gold look with brunette hair
The Rose Gold for Brown Hair formula will be brightest on light brown or previously lightened brown hair and will apply a subtle tint on medium and dark brown hair. (Blessed with black strands? oVertone products will deposit color wherever you apply them, though that doesn’t necessarily mean that you’ll be able to see color wherever you apply it. Imagine drawing in purple marker over a dark piece of card stock – the color is there, but you can’t necessarily see it.)
oVertone can be applied on wet or dry hair but for maximum intensity apply to dry, clean, unconditioned hair. Fully saturate the strands for best coverage and color application. After letting the treatment soak in for 10-15 minutes, rinse out with warm or hot water, dry and style as usual. Maintain with Rose Gold for Brown Hair Daily Conditioner anytime after you shampoo.

Rose Gold for Brown Hair is best used on brown hair because of its intense pigmentation, so if you’re starting with blonde hair, try our more subtle Original Rose Gold formula. Keep in mind that your current color, hair health, and hair porosity all affect how color deposits in it.
