Color Watch: Three Ways to Rock Red for Fall 2016

As fall is coming around the corner we're really enjoying trend spotting.  Some people like watching the leaves change color, hey, we like watching PEOPLE change color.

We're still seriously loving on blush blonde, but a different trend is making itself known in a MAJOR way:

Red has always been associated with the sultry, bold, and powerful, and it is definitely out to make a MAJOR statement this fall!

How to Rock This Trend:

Red Hair

Head to toe we think Red is amazing - start at the top with our Extreme Red and Vibrant Red color conditioners!  You can layer these reds over most natural colors for anywhere from fire-engine red to a deep auburn. (Be sure to check out our strand tests if you have questions about how your hair will look.)

Add an Accent

This is a simple way to add a little flair to your street style - pair up some neutrals with a badass red (or two, or three) and you've got a pulled together look in seconds.  Try this look by pairing a hat and shoes, but don't let that stop you from other combos!  Some of our favorite accents include purses, earrings, eyebrows, nails, lipstick, eyeshadow, or even a secret bright red hair panel revealed with cool braids or updos.

Pair Different Shades of Red

Don't feel like you need to match - these maroon and fire colored locs are really highlighted by the punchy red lip color.  Clashing is a thing of the past when there are so many pretty combos you can make!  Try a glossy cherry lip paired with a dark red coat, or oxblood doc martens (a bosslady favorite) paired with a crimson velvet choker.
